A Year ago, Jacques Villeneuve... Vegas was his debut in Truck Series

Sept. 17, 2008

I was just reviewing the Entry List for Craftsman Truck Race in Vegas and can't help but take a walk down memory lane.

Jacques Villeneuve Vegas debut! Fans were excited.

JV qualified 7th and finished the race 21st. A great debut and we thought from there on, he would never stop racing in Nascar.

Well, that didn't quite happen but it will.

I'm looking forward to watching the Truck race this week. Certainly they will mention Jacques' performance last year. :-)

And, in the meantime, JVistes around the WWW don't lose faith that JV will be back in Nascar soon.

The Phoenix will rise again. :-)

Have a great race weekend!

I was just reviewing the Entry List for Craftsman Truck Race in Vegas and can't help but take a walk down memory lane.

The Phoenix will rise again. :-)

Bonne fin de semaine de course Nascar.

Back to Vegas Baby, Nascar 2008

Great Sprint Cup race yesterday in Vegas. My Carl won. :-)

And, Mike Skinner finished the race in Jacques #27 car. That's great news.

It's important to keep the car in the races let alone qualify. The seat is being kept warm for Jacques Villeneuve's return.

Atlanta is next and hopefully by then, BDR will have news about the cars 2008 season with JV.

---

March 1, 2008

Mike Skinner did a good job yesterday qualifying the #27 for Las Vegas race tomorrow. If Jacques has the opportunity to make a few races if not find a full sponsor, the #27 needs to qualify and finish races in the meantime.

BDR is stuck between a rock and a hard spot. :-)

But, I am a true believer that it will all work out for Bill and Jacques.

Thanks Mike for the good job done yesterday. It's experience under your belt and you're helping the Team. I'm impressed so far with your opinion or lack of comments on the issue.

---

February 27, 2008

Jacques Villeneuve is staying home this week but still working hard at sponsorship to get back to racing. In the meantime, it ain't Vegas but there is alot of action with the boys. :-)

Mike Skinner will be driving the #27 this week in Vegas.

Feb. 26, 2008

Wow, can't believe it's been a whole year since Jacques first Craftsman Truck 2007 race in Vegas.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. lol

Sorry, just can't help myself. In Villeneuve's case, I want to talk about it. A year ago, he started 7th in first Nascar race and he finished it too.

Fans around the globe were so hoping to see Jacques at every Sprint Cup 2008 race. He didn't make Daytona, hired BG and new PR Team, and has taken a serious look at making things right for a very long career in Nascar.

Jacques! Are you on your way to Vegas??

Still no news from BDR camp. No announcements as to who will be driving the #27 this week. Keep the faith JVistes!

Best of luck to all and if not this week... he'll be there soon.

Jacques Villeneuve Vegas Baby! First official Truck Race 2007

Jacques Villeneuve finishes 21st in Las Vegas 350.

He started 7th(great qualifying) and despite a little hit, he was able to finish his first Craftsman Truck Series Race.

By the end of the race, he was moving up and increasing speeds again. A few fantastic and exciting moments of him in a row of 3 and taking it. :-)

Good job Jacques Villeneuve.

See you in Talladega Baby!

---

Des laps couru et une course terminee, "That is the job I have to do today". And, "pay attention to mistakes". :-)

Bonne Course Jacques!

On se voit a Talladega Baby!

Jacques Villeneuve qualifies 7th. Bravo!

Jacques time: 31.072/173 miles per hour avg.

Had a short and sweet interview about Qualifying and new job. :-) Found Qualifying tough but happy with his performance and sitting 7th.

Anxious to run the race and a bit nervous about being in the pack. Give him a few laps and he'll be fine. He's very focused and knows it's about making laps.

JVistes know he'll do much much more.

See you at the finish line!

---

Jacques a qualifie 7ieme.

Temps: 31.072/173 miles a l'heure.

Aucune pression ; -)

Nascar pour les Canadiens. Qui aurait pensé...

Jacques Villeneuve Vegas Baby!

Sept. 17,

Well, officially, Jacques Villeneuve's in Vegas Baby! and he's begun his 'job' in Nascar.

Was seen Sunday in Vegas signing autographs. Also heard rumors he had alot of recorded interviews and marketing work for Nascar to do. These guys work hard on and off the track.

And... It's Vegas Baby!

The teams are parking their vans as we speak. And, believe it or not, the tailgate party has begun for diehard fans. These last races are kinda like the 'chase'.

Little do they expect the guy they'll be chasing is Jacques Villeneuve. He'll be rookie of the year!

Let's go to Vegas Baby!
