Jacques Villeneuve Rumors, Fact or Fiction?

As we all know, the Sportsworld is a lean mean business machine.

A whole lot of spin-doctors and marketing/pr execs put alot of time and effort into what they do. Any sports fan knows sponsors and big companies make alot of money in Sports.

It has become a medium in and of itself. Exclusive sponsorship provides exposure in all media with very little limitations. Be it a Montreal Canadian's game or the Montreal Grand Prix on circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the targeted audiences remember who was 'there' so to speak.

Obviously, even media exposure must be spun.

Jacques Villeneuve Rumors... Fact or Fiction?

JV gave JPL some news a couple of weeks ago, via e-mail. He's doing great. Very busy and still 100% focused on Nascar 2009. His little sprint in Daytona was 'just' work related and not any trials for a determined team. :-)

He did comment on Pat Carpentier's experience and thought it wasrough.

That said, he did seem to be optimistic despite the non-success of other open-wheelers. Nascar is tough!

Family is doing fine.

I'll be seeing him mid-November. Can't wait. :-)

No, he's decided to track back and use 2008 to prepare for 2009 and a very long career in Nascar.

I believe the Phoenix will rise...

Hmmm Jacques back in Europe? F1, interesting to say the least but hands off people! He's ours next year. Absolutely not. It's over.

In all racing series, there is a rejuvenation of interest and brand new fans. For many JV fans, we can't get enough of it, Jacques participating or not(although we're anxious to see you Bossman).

-- Built high-tech gaming room in new Westmount home? Of course. Isn't that(and huge secure garage)what sells houses? When I found out what he had as his gaming system... OMG!!!

Would make any gamer jealous.
