Nascar Nationwide Napa 200 - 2012

August 20, 2012
It was an exciting Nationwide race in Montreal on Saturday.

Kudos to Allgaier but mostly Alex Tagliani was definitely THE star on Saturday. A great, hard working driver who is a true gentlemen on and off track.

I may put the post-race press conference up and a couple of JV excuse interviews... I'll see how I feel by today's end.

All I really want to say about it is, Karma is a bitch Jacques. Have fun down under.

JV Post-qualifying Montreal Nascar Nationwide.

The Canadian Tire Nascar race starts in less than 30 minutes. Seems like there are a few walk-up ticket buyers. May they fill the stands again this year.

Have fun race fans and enjoy the boys that make the noise.

The best has yet to come...

Seems quiet on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this year at the Napa 200 qualifications. Oh well...

Jacques Villeneuve qualified 3rd this year in Penske's #22. And, he didn't have all that much to say since he's been here.

Would have been great for him to aknowledge our beautiful city and its great fans. Then again, PR isn't JV's strong point.

Kudos to Alex Taliani who won his first Pole. A great guy with a great attitude. He makes Montreal race fans proud.

Sam Hornish had a great qualifying as well. He was second fastest today.

JV's good pal Danica close behind, qualifying 4th. Should be a good race tomorrow.

A special Welcome back to Kyle. The Montreal race needs some of the Sprint Cup drivers if they want continued success hosting this Nationwide roadcourse race.

I usually would say Go JV Go! And maybe I'll be screaming it tomorrow.

In the meantime, bossman is looking good.
